ComicConnect’s Vincent Zurzolo Makes Coolest Job List
Those of us fortunate enough to work in the industries of comics, collecting, auctions, and pop culture know how lucky we are. They are cool jobs dedicated to the things we care about and invest our time in.
Recently, Vincent Zurzolo the COO and founder of ComicConnect, was featured on “The 11 Coolest Jobs in NYC” list. Posted on www.thrillist.com, the list shines the spotlight on 11 individuals working in New York City who have exciting, interesting jobs. Zurzolo made the list for his work as a vintage comic book dealer and expert.
On the post, Zurzolo talked about how he got into the industry, starting with his childhood and college days, to early work, joining Metropolis Collectibles, and launching ComicConnect. He also talked about what he does in his position as co-owner of ComicConnect.
“It was so cool to be included on this list,” Zurzolo told Scoop. “I love what I do and comic books have come a long way. If this list was made in 1995 I don’t think I’d have made it.”
In addition to Zurzolo, the list includes an urban winemaker, Tough Mudder obstacle course designer, professional matchmaker, and fashion psychologist, among others.
