
ComicConnect’s Spring Mega Monthly Auction Opens for Bids
ComicConnect’s Spring Mega Monthly Auction is now open for bids, featuring a selection of rare comics and classic keys. The auction is running until May 19-21, 2026.
The collection in the auction covers the comic ages, including Golden Age rarities such as Donald Duck’s headlining debut in 1935’s rare Linen Story Book #978 alongside Blue Circle Comics #1, Captain Marvel Story Book #2, Dennis the Menace’s start in comics with Dennis the Menace #1, and the first Three Chipmunks amidst a parade of Four Color Comics.
Silver Age keys include Silver Surfer and Galactus’ first appearances in Fantastic Four #48 and Neal Adams’ cover for The Spectre #5, plus John Buscema’s imposing Prince Namor for Sub-Mariner #1, the first Silver Age Penguin in Batman #155, and CGC Signature Series Stan Lee books like Captain America #115, Amazing Spider-Man #155, and Fantastic Four #82.

Other firsts include the furry Beast bounding into action in Amazing Adventures #11, the Black Widow debuting in Tales of Suspense #52, and another classic Neal Adams cover ushering in Abel’s first appearance in House of Secrets #81.
The Bronze Age beauties include John Constantine creeping into the DC Universe with Saga of the Swamp Thing #37 and copies of Frank Miller’s 1982 Wolverine series. There are Modern Age key like The Boys #1 signed by Garth Ennis, a rare Walking Dead #1 Sketch Edition signed by Rob Liefeld, and more.
