ComicConnect is entering the final days of Event Auction 67. The auction contains a selection of original art and vintage comics from the Golden Age, Silver Age, and Bronze Age and beyond. The auction closes on September 13-17.

Event Auction 67 contains rare comics like the first Galactus and the Silver Surfer in Fantastic Four #48 9.9, Wonder Woman #1 8.5, and a colorful Detective Comics #1 4.5. The auction features a rare copy of the history-making All-Negro Comics #1, and Spider-Man keys Amazing Fantasy #15 and Amazing Spider-Man #1.

There’s also Wonder Woman’s first appearance in All Star Comics #8 and her first cover on Sensation Comics #1. Golden Age rarities feature Master Comics #10 9.8 and Human Torch #9 9.6, plus the classic Timely action of All Winner Comics #3 and the Joker’s origin in Detective Comics #168.

Iron Man’s intro in Tales of Suspense #39, the first Hulk in Incredible Hulk #1, the Fantastic Four’s debut in Fantastic Four #1, and Dr. Dooms debut in Fantastic Four #5 are among the Marvel keys. Silver Surfer #15 9.8 (Marie Severin battle cover), and high grade Bronze Age keys like Wolverine’s debut in Incredible Hulk #181 and Blade’s introduction Tomb of Dracula #10 are offered.

Event Auction 67 original art examples are Frank Miller’s Batman Dark Knight Returns store display, and Dave Cockrum introducing Storm to the Sentinels in X-Men #98. Steve Epting’s cover for 2005’s Captain America #19, and Jack Kirby’s Frightful Four battle from Fantastic Four #42 are among the art lots.

The auction has another group of exclusive art pieces to benefit the Lake Como Comic Art Festival. Paul Smith’s Hellfire Club art in X-Men #169, Kirby’s work of Batroc teaming up with Captain America in Tales of Suspense #85, and Steve Ditko and Don Heck join Kirby for a page from Tales to Astonish #50. Other examples are Bill Everett depicting a brawling Prince Namor in Tales to Astonish #87 and George Pérez uniting the Universes in an action-packed page from JLA/Avengers #4.

More featured items in the auction include Matt Webb coloring a major Hellboy spread by Mike Mignola in John Byrne’s Next Men #21, art by Ryan Brown, and a selection of Bill Sienkiewicz’s work, and comic strips from Charles Schulz and Frank Frazetta.
