
ComicConnect’s Event Auction 66 Enters Final Days
ComicConnect is entering the final days of Event Auction 66 featuring a selection of original art and vintage comics, including important keys and art by industry greats. The auction closes on Monday, June 22 through Friday, March 26, 2026.
The Action Comics #1 CGC 6.0 Rocket copy is the headliner of Event Auction 66. It is joined by Action Comics #17 7.5, Action Comics #15 6.0, and Batman #1 6.0, which is joined by several other Golden Age Batman books.
More Golden Age keys include Wonder Woman’s first appearance in All Star Comics #8, the pioneering Wonder Woman #1, and the presidential election-themed Wonder Woman #7, along with rarities like Planet Comics #1 and Wambi the Jungle Boy #1.
The Silver Age is represented by Amazing Fantasy #15 8.0, Fantastic Four #1 9.0, Daredevil #1 9.6, and more Marvel milestones such as Amazing Spider-Man #1 and Incredible Hulk #1. There’s also a high grade Amazing Spider-Man #6 9.6 featuring Steve Ditko’s action-packed cover art.

Original art highlights include John Romita, Sr.’s defining depiction of the origin of Spider-Man in Amazing Spider-Man #50, joined by a Romita page from Amazing Spider-Man #108 and Modern master Humberto Ramos introducing Spidey to Disney on the cover of Amazing Fantasy #1000, matched with another variant.
Bernie Wrightson’s classic work for “Bat Out of Hell” from 1971’s House of Mystery #195, and Moebius’ cover art for Marvel Tales #253 showcases a chilling interpretation of Morbius, The Living Vampire.
A Jack Kirby page features the Silver Surfer and Galactus as Kirby reunites with Stan Lee for 1978’s The Silver Surfer: The Ultimate Cosmic Experience, and George Pérez brings together Marvel and DC icons for the cover of Comics Interview #6. Other historical finds have Keith Giffen introducing Lobo in Omega Men #3, Frank Miller going to the morgue with Matt Murdock in Elektra Lives Again, and Neal Adams’ own death of Superman in Superman #213.
