ComicConnect has launched Event Auction 62 featuring a collection of vintage comics, original art, foreign titles, rare pulps, and more.

Event Auction 62’s Golden Age keys include Two-Face’s first appearance in Detective Comics #66, the Riddler’s intro in Detective Comics #140, and Dr. Fate’s debut in More Fun Comics #55. There’s also a high grade run of scarce Rocket Comics, plus a copy of Superman #1.

Silver Age books show history being made in Incredible Hulk #1, Daredevil #1, and X-Men #1. An Amazing Spider-Man #1 7.0 joins the Green Goblin’s start in Amazing Spider-Man #14 9.2. More first appearances include Fantastic Four #1 8.5 and Iron Man’s debut in Tales of Suspense #39 9.4.

Additional highlights are Amazing Fantasy #15, a high grade selection of scarce Rocket Comics, and a Bronze Age run of X-Men 9.8 that begins with Giant-Size X-Men #1 and X-Men #94.

The original art lots include Steve Ditko revealing Iron Man’s red and gold uniform in Tales of Suspense #48. Gil Kane introduces Guy Gardner in Green Lantern #59, while George Pérez’s cover for Teen Titans #14 captures DC’s Bronze Age glory days. Jack Kirby pencils a page from Thor’s fourth appearance in Journey Into Mystery #86, and John Buscema provides a feminist cover for Valkyrie’s first appearance in Avengers #83. That’s alongside Michael Turner’s Iron Spider cover of Civil War #3 and a rare Frank Frazetta preliminary drawing for the cover of Vampirella #5, along with pieces by Robson Rocha, George Tuska, and more.

The auction is now open for bidding and closes on June 8 through June 12, 2025.
