Denny O’Neil, the prolific and legendary comic writer, editor, and author, curated an impressive collection of personal copies and bound volumes. Since he passed away in June 2020, ComicConnect was selected to facilitate the auction of O’Neil’s estate. The auction closed on Tuesday, March 2, 2021.

O’Neil’s copy of Cancelled Comics Cavalcade sold for $12,650, his Question Bound Volume lot with personal notes about Year 2 hit $5,750, his personal desk went for $3,181 while the typewriter hit $494, and a DC Comics Bound lot sold for $2,127.
