ComicConnect to Display Pacheco Art at Comic Collector Show & SDCC
ComicConnect is offering a new selection of original art from Carlos Pacheco, whose memorable career spanned work for Marvel, DC, and Image.
These new pieces arrive after ComicConnect’s record breaking sale of original art by Pacheco earlier in 2025. A collector paid $25,000 for a set of original concept art and preliminary sketches from 2012’s Captain America #25. Alejandro Pacheco is continuing to work with ComicConnect in offering these new pieces that showcase his late father’s distinctive take on heroes ranging from Superman to the Avengers to Wonder Woman.
That includes Pacheco’s Crimson Avenger cover for JSA #52 and a rare X-Men promotional image pairing the team with Apocalypse. Pacheco’s cover for Damage Control #1 features Nightcrawler, Quicksilver, Moon Knight, She-Hulk, and Ghost Rider, while beloved heroes fill a page from Captain America #25 as Sam Wilson makes his historic transition into becoming the titular hero.
Collectors can get a first-hand look at the art as ComicConnect takes their Carlos Pacheco portfolio on the California convention circuit in the coming weeks. ComicConnect will be showing these pieces at the inaugural Comic Collector Show in Torrance on Sunday, July 20, and then at the San Diego Comic-Con (booth #5516) on July 23-27.
ComicConnect President Vincent Zurzolo will be in San Diego with Original Art Consignment Director Micah Spivak. They are marking over 25 years of bringing together sellers and consignors as they continue to represent the timeless work of Carlos Pacheco.
