ComicConnect’s Event Auction 65 features vintage comics, rare memorabilia, and a selection of original comic art by well known, influential creators.
They are selling Jack Kirby pages from X-Men #5 and #11, and Incredible Hulk #3, Neal Adams’ cover for Justice League of America #96, and George Pérez’s art of Raven being saved in New Teen Titans #31 and the character-packed Avengers #149 title splash.
A page of John Buscema’s preliminary art for the Silver Surfer and a Hoppy the Marvel Bunny cover from Fawcett’s Funny Animals #18 by creator Chad Grothkopf are in the auction. There’s a rare recreation of Golden Age creator Al Avison’s All Winners Comics #4 cover, a Sheldon Moldoff page from Batman #167, and Wayne Boring’s work from Superman #189.

Modern art examples include a Tony Moore page from The Walking Dead #1 and Charlie Adlard pages for one of the title’s most shocking scenes. Additionally, the auction includes George Pratt’s trade paperback cover for Batman: Harvest Breed, Ryan Ottley’s cover for Invincible #41, and a Michael Turner double-page spread for Witchblade/Tomb Raider #1.
ComicConnect is offering the vintage drawing table used by Astonishing X-Men and Star Wars artist John Cassaday, plus works by Wally Wood, Alex Toth, Sergio Aragones, Frank Frazetta, and others.
