ComicConnect is in the midst of their Summer Mega Monthly Auction, and they are already presenting a first look at new lots in the upcoming Event Auction 67. It opens for bids on Monday, August 24, 2026.

Event Auction 67 will launch on Monday, August 24, 2026, with a selection of rare comics like introduction of Galactus and the Silver Surfer in a census-topping Fantastic Four #48 9.9, along with Wonder Woman #1 8.5, Spider-Man swinging for his debut in Amazing Fantasy #15 and his first solo series Amazing Spider-Man #1, a colorful Detective Comics #1 4.5, and a rare copy of the history-making All-Negro Comics #1.

There’s also the first appearance of Two-Face in Detective Comics #66, the Joker’s origin in Detective Comics #168, the Superman Family grows with Superman’s Pal, Jimmy Olsen #1, Sapphire enters the Silver Age in Green Lantern #16 9.4, and Iron Man’s introduction in Tales of Suspense #39.

The original art includes Frank Miller’s Batman for a dazzling Dark Knight Returns store display and Steve Epting’s cover for 2005’s Captain America #19, Jack Kirby pages featuring a wild Frightful Four battle in Fantastic Four #42 and domestic mayhem in Fantastic Four #41, Paul Smith ventures into the Hellfire Club in X-Men #169, plus works by John Romita, Jr., Irv Novick, John Buscema, and Bill Sienkiewicz.

Event Auction 67 is building on Metropolis/ComicConnect’s successful first half of 2016 that includes the private sale of Action Comics #1 9.0 for a record $15 million, and records set in their “Death of Superman” Original Art Auction.
