ComicConnect Original Art Auction Starts Nov. 22
ComicConnect’s Event Auction #48 offers a vast selection of over 300 lots of original art, including pieces from all eras of comics and an assortment of animation art.
Headlining the auction is Gil Kane’s classic cover to the Inhumans #1 from 1975 and two early Golden Age Batman pages by Jerry Robinson – a page from Batman #14 and another from Detective Comics #79. The auction has Nick Cardy’s cover to Superman #275, a Barry Smith page from Conan #6, the cover to Rawhide Kid #71 by Larry Lieber, a page from The Crimson Dynamo’s first appearance in Tales of Suspense #46 by Don Heck, a Mike Sekowsky page from the second appearance of the Justice League in Brave and the Bold #29, and a Joe Sinnott Silver Surfer piece inked over a copy of Jack Kirby’s original pencils.
“This is our biggest original art auction ever,” ComicConnect COO Vincent Zurzolo said. “Our clients deserve the very best we can procure, and we always work our tails off to offer an excellent selection of investment portfolio-quality material. We knocked it out of the park in Event Auction #48.”
