ComicConnect is continuing to add original art to their Event Auction preview.

“We’ve added an enticing selection of art to the auction, from beautiful Bronze Age pages and splashes to exceptional painted pieces from a wide variety of artists,” said Vincent Zurzolo, COO of ComicConnect.

Newly featured art includes a couple of Bronze horror splashes by Romeo Tanghal and a Keith Pollard Master of Kung-Fu page. From the Golden Age, they have a complete Iger Studios Secret Romances story plus the splash page from another story.

“We’ve also got an incredible selection of ’80s and ’90s pages, including a batch of New Teen Titans pages by a variety of artists, with a couple by George Pérez, and cool ’90s pages from a bunch of titles like Justice League, Batman, Jonah Hex, and Green Lantern, including a page by Golden Age Green Lantern creator Mort Nodell! Speaking of Green Lantern, we’re also offering a super cool George Pérez Hal Jordan drawing that was used on a t-shirt” Zurzolo said. “Did I mention the variety of pages from hero, war and horror titles from the late ’70s and early ’80s?”

Highlights include a Bill Ward Humorama illustration, two Al Hartley Patsy Walker pin-ups, the cover to Richie Rich #96 by Warren Kremer, a Russ Manning Tarzan page, Batman and Wonder Woman paintings by Frank Brunner, a painted Joker page from a Batman: The Animated Series book, a series of DC licensing drawings, and several illustrations by John Cullen Murphy.
