At New York ComicCon, ComicConnect said they will be writing millions of dollars in advance checks for their upcoming auctions.

“I have $3.9 million and a stack of checks. Bring your comics and original comic art for a future auction and I will pay you today, why wait?” asked Rob Reynolds, Director of Consignments.

The company will display highlights from their upcoming Winter Event Auction including copies of Detective Comics #35 CGC 7.5, Fantastic Four #1 CGC 8.5, Captain America Comics #1 CGC 1.5, Batman #1 CGC 1.8 and many more.

“As I’ll have many of my best consignments on display at the show, comic collectors should stop by booth #2636 and peruse a sample of the world’s most valuable comics and comic art,” he said. “Bring your consignments to my booth, leave with a check in hand.”

The deadline to consign to the auction is Monday, October 14, 2013.

Metropolis Collectibles, ComicConnect’s sister company, will be set up at booth #2630 with a wide selection from their inventory. The company’s Frank Cwiklik said he will be buying as well, so collectors may stop by for a cash offer.

New York Comic Con is held at the Jacob Javits Center, October 10-13, 2013. For more information, go to www.nycomiccon.com.
