ComicConnect Gives First Look at Event Auction 65

ComicConnect is kicking off 2026 with their Winter Mega Monthly Auction starting on Monday, January 26, and now they’re presenting a first look at the upcoming Event Auction 65 launching on Monday, February 23.

Event Auction 65 will have a selection of high grade Golden and Silver Age books coming to the auction market for the first time. They include Detective Comics #1 8.5, a Fantastic Four #1 9.2, and Action Comics #10 8.0 with Joe Shuster’s third Superman cover.

The first appearance of Plastic Man in Police Comics #1 9.0, the Blue Beetle begins in Blue Beetle #1 9.2, and Steel Sterling stars with other pioneering heroes in a Zip Comics #1 9.4.

There’s Joe Shuster’s train cover for Action Comics #13, the first Spider-Man in Amazing Fantasy #15, Robin first joining Batman in Detective Comics #38, and Walt Disney rarities like Mickey Mouse’s comics debut in Four Color Comics #15.

Event Auction 65 also has a selection of original art, including Jack Kirby pages from X-Men #5, X-Men #11, and Incredible Hulk #3, alongside Neal Adams’ cover for Justice League of America #96, George Pérez’s opening for Avengers #149, and works by Rob Liefeld, Mike Sekowsky, and more.
