ComicConnect is still adding vintage comics and original art to Event Auction 62, leading up to the auction opening on Monday, May 19, 2025.

Catwoman’s first proper appearance in Batman #3 joins Golden Age keys such as Two-Face’s first appearance in Detective Comics #66, the Riddler’s intro in Detective Comics #140, and Dr. Fate’s debut in More Fun Comics #55. Krypto the Superdog is introduced in Adventure Comics #210, while Silver Age debuts include Iron Man’s intro in Tales of Suspense #39 9.4.

More keys follow with Daredevil #1, Incredible Hulk #1, X-Men #1, and Fantastic Four #1 8.5, plus an Amazing Spider-Man #1 alongside the Green Goblin’s start in Amazing Spider-Man #14 9.2. Comic highlights also include Amazing Fantasy #15, scarce Captain America action in USA Comics #14, and an uncanny Bronze Age run of X-Men issues graded 9.8 starting from Giant-Size X-Men #1 and X-Men #94.

Event Auction 62’s original art collection has added a signed Charles Schulz drawing of Snoopy and Peppermint Patty in crayon, as well as John Buscema’s famously feminist cover for the Valkyrie’s first appearance in Avengers #83. A Teen Titans page from George Pérez joins his cover for Teen Titans #14, alongside Irv Novick’s own classic Teen Titans work (from a Carmine Infantino layout) for Brave and the Bold #83.

There’s even insight into Robert Crumb’s creative process with a drawing for an unmade Whiteman Meets Bigfoot movie, plus more from other comics icons.
