The November Event Auction at ComicConnect has 1,485 lots up for grabs, making it the company’s largest auction ever thanks to some last-minute consignments, and they said the number of bids received so far is easily outpacing every auction to date.

“I am thrilled at the number of bids and new bidders that have swarmed the ComicConnect.com servers,” said Vincent Zurzolo, Chief Operating Officer.  “The quality of material available in this auction is spectacular, with something for every collector.”

The ComicConnect.com Event Auction has over 100 art lots and over 1,300 comics available.

The closing schedule for the sessions is as follows:
Session 1: Art + Comic Titles A-E (Friday, Dec. 4, 7 PM – 12 AM EST)
Session 2: Comic Titles F-Z (Saturday, Dec. 5, 7 PM – 12 AM EST)
Session 3: Bonus Round (Tuesday, Dec. 8, 7 PM – 12 AM EST)
Session 4: Bonus Round (Wednesday, Dec. 9, 7 PM – 12 AM EST)
Session 5: Bonus Round (Thursday, Dec. 10, 7 PM – 12 AM EST)

Highlights of the interior art offerings include an Avengers #13 interior page, a Fantastic Four #15 interior page by Kirby & Ayers, the Fantastic Four #188 cover by George Pérez, the House of Secrets #134 cover by Ernie Chan, and a complete 23-page story from Showcase #78.

Comic book highlights in the event include All-Star Comics #8 VG/F (first Wonder Woman), Amazing Fantasy #15 CGC 8.0 (first Spider-Man), Amazing Spider-Man #1 CGC 7.5, Avengers #4 CGC 9.4 (first Silver Age Captain America), Captain America Comics #7 CGC 9.4, Captain America Comics #9 CGC 9.2 (highest graded), Captain America Comics #13 CGC 8.5 (highest graded), Captain America Comics #15 CGC 9.2 (Chicago, highest graded), Detective Comics #28 CGC 3.5, Fantastic Four #1 CGC 5.0, Incredible Hulk #181 CGC 9.8 (first Wolverine) and Showcase #4 CGC 8.5 (first Silver Age Flash)
