Baltimore Comic-Con has announced six more guests for their next convention on September 25-27, 2026. The new guests are Becky Cloonan, Michael W. Conrad, Chris Kemple, Kevin Maguire, John K. Snyder III, and Kelly Yates.

Cloonan began her career making mini-comics as part of the Meathaus collective. Since then, she’s gone on to write and draw on titles like Dark Agnes, Conan the Barbarian, The Punisher, True Lives of the Fabulous Killjoys, Gotham Academy, Detective Comics, and Batman, and working on creator-owned books like Southern Cross and the critically acclaimed collection of short stories, By Chance or Providence. She also illustrates album art, and gig and movie posters for My Chemical Romance, Black Sabbath, Adult Swim, and Mondo.

Conrad has written for many well known characters like Wonder Woman, Batman, Superman, Godzilla, Nightwing, Doom Patrol, and others. He has also explored the absurd and surreal in books like Tremor Dose and Double Walker. He is currently working on several creator owned projects.

Kemple contributes to Artist Alley Comics, he started out as an assistant at Artamus Studios, is a teacher and freelance artist, and for the video game development studio Red Storm Entertainment, he is a founding member, texture artist, and 3D object modeler.

Maguire is a busy artist whose work can be seen at DC on Justice League International, Man of Steel, Batman Confidential, Doom Patrol, and World’s Finest. His work at Marvel includes Adventures of Captain America, Defenders, and more.

Snyder created the groundbreaking 1980s series Fashion in Action, and he worked on the classic Suicide Squad run in the ‘80s and provided covers for the recent miniseries. He worked with Matt Wagner to co-create the Pieter Cross version of Doctor Mid-Nite for DC and Lady Zorro for Dynamite. He worked on Grendel: God and the Devil, provided covers on Harlan Ellison’s Phoenix Without Ashes, and his latest work was on the graphic novel adaptation of Lawrence Block’s Eight Million Ways to Die.

Yates is an illustrator who has provided art in Doctor Who comics at Titan and IDW, and inspired Titan’s toy lines. He also writes and illustrates his creator owned books Amber Atoms and MonstHer.

“We get great pleasure in announcing our guests to the public,” Baltimore Comic-Con show promoter Marc Nathan said. “People are genuinely excited to come and meet some of the finest comics creators the industry has to offer. With a wide range of titles and genres, there’s something for everyone!”
