An exciting feature in Geppi’s Entertainment’s upcoming Morphy auction includes an amazing variety of clocks and clockwork. Circa late 19th century to the late 1960s, the collection is vast with over 50 pieces to choose from. The auction will begin September 11 and end September 13, 2008.

The first notable clockwork piece is a Santa Claus Nodder with a porcelain bisque face. The oldest in the collection, Santa stands on a wooden base and is 30” tall. His paper mache hands are holding an original Victorian feather tree and he has a very detailed face with blue stationary glass eyes.

A Sauer’s Extracts regulator clock is also available in the September auction. Its dimensions are 15 X 41”, and is in excellent condition. Circa 1910 to 1915, this clock’s dangling pendulum is protected by a glass door and is a beautiful example of what Morphy’s has to offer.

Next is a Coca-Cola regulator clock. It stands about 39” tall with a girl sipping Coca-Cola through a straw decal depicted in front of the pendulum. The familiar “Coca-Cola” logo is printed on the face just above 6 o’clock. The regulator clock is just one of several Coca-Cola pieces available in the upcoming auction.

Lastly is an Iroquois beer Double Bubble light-up clock. This great example is 16” in diameter and features a large Iroquois on the face. The electric clock is circa 1960s.

These examples of clocks are just the tip of the iceberg when it comes to the items offered at Morphy’s. To check out more clocks or other exquisite collectibles that will be available in the upcoming auction visit Morphy’s today!
