As part of the celebration of the release of Marvel’s new Star Wars comic series, Cards, Comics & Collectibles in Reisterstown, MD hosted a party with a special signing by artist Frank Cho on January 14, 2015. Cho did the store-exclusive Star Wars #1 cover and spent time at the store chatting with fans and signing his art.

Cho’s art features Han Solo and the Millennium Falcon prominently, alongside Princess Leia, Chewbacca, and Boba Fett. The store went so far as to put the cover art on a cake that was shared amongst customers.

For those who were unable to make it to the event but are interested in the store-exclusive cover variant, it can be purchased from the Cards, Comics & Collectibles website, or can be picked up in-person at the store, which is located at 100A Chartley Drive in Reisterstown, MD. Cards, Comics & Collectibles celebrated 30 years in the business in May of 2014 and is the official retailer of Baltimore Comic-Con.
