Children’s Guild Honors Steve and Mindy Geppi
Steve and Mindy Geppi at its annual, black-tie fundraiser, Cabaret for
Kids.
Founded in 1953, The Children’s Guild is a nonprofit organization
committed to providing educational, therapeutic, and diagnostic services to
children with emotional and behavioral difficulties. The organization serves up
to 700 children each year through its after-school programs, therapeutic group
homes, outpatient mental health clinics and school-to-work programs for older
kids. Their annual Cabaret for Kids is part of their efforts to raise awareness
and revenue to support the group’s many educational and social endeavors.
This year’s Cabaret for Kids included a gourmet meal, live and silent
auctions, and a dramatic re-enactment of several biographical scenes from
Geppi’s life.
