This week’s eBay listings from Hake’s Americana & Collectibles include a diverse trio of character statues.

First up is the 2006 Marvel Comics Cover Sculpture of Giant Size X-Men #1 from 2006. This three dimensional rendering of this first famous cover as a limited edition statue has never been removed from the box and is considered extremely rare.  It is hand painted, hand cast polystone, measures 7″x 5.25″x 10.25″ and comes with a certificate of authenticity.

Giant Size X-Men #1, of course, was the debut of a new team of X-Men, and began the transformation of the franchise that made them among the most iconic characters in superhero comics.

Next on the list of icons is a limited edition, porcelain Batman: Black & White statue designed by Matt Wagner (Batman/Grendel) and sculpted by Paul Harding. Issued by DC Direct in 2007, the statue is individually numbered at 3008 of 4500 and was made in China. It stands 7.5” tall and has never been displayed from being photographed for this listing.

The third statue listing is one of Disney’s lesser-known characters, but one that’s nonetheless very compelling, Figment the Dragon. This porcelain mini-figure of Figment, who debuted at the Epcot in 1982 and was initially featured prominently in the Journey into Imagination ride (which opened March 1983).

The figure stands approximately 4.5 inches tall and is painted purple with the Copyright and country of production on the foot.

All Hake’s eBay auctions end on Sundays.
