Comic artists Rose Besch and Bart Sears are doing exclusive in-house private signing events with CGC. Along with signing books, both Besch and Sears are offering a limited number of remarques.

Besch’s art has been featured on covers for DC, Marvel, Image, and Dynamite, along with companies like American Greetings, Loot Crate, and Mattel. Her anime-style art has appeared on books, games, toys, and even hot sauce in the US and Japan. For comic covers, she has drawn the likes of Spider-Man, Batman, Catwoman, Wonder Woman, Harley Quinn, Vampirella, and more.

“The CGC Signature Series team can’t wait to have Rose join for this in-house private signing event,” CGC Signature Series Director Brittany McManus said. “She’s such a skilled artist and her comic book covers are insanely cute!”

Sears has worked on titles like X-O Manowar, Turok, Captain America and Falcon, Blade, Justice League Europe, and Legends of the Dark Knight. He is well known for his cult classic art tutorial column Brutes and Babes in Wizard Magazine, and how to draw book line Drawing Powerful Heroes. He has created stories like Dread Gods and Demi-God for Ominous Press, and has worked in the toy and gaming industry for G.I. Joe, WWE Hasbro toys, and X-Men figures for Toybiz.

“The Signature Series team and I are thrilled to have Bart Sears join us for this exclusive private signing,” McManus said. “He’s an exceptional talent with a diverse résumé. He’s worked in the comic industry, taught at The Kubert School and designed toys! We’re really looking forward to having him.”

For these exclusive signings, both free and paid CGC members can submit books directly to the CGC headquarters in Sarasota, Florida. CGC must receive all submissions for Besch by Friday, October 28, 2022 and for Sears by Friday, November 11.

If the private signings need to be rescheduled, CGC will securely store submissions until they can be rescheduled.

After the books are signed, CGC will grade and encapsulate them with expedited turnaround of six weeks for grading or eight weeks for grading and pressing. Then collectibles will be shipped back to the owners.

The fee for Besch’s signature is $70 per item or $110 for a signature and remarque. The fee for Sears’ signature is $60 per item or $110 for a signature and remarque. This includes the expedited turnaround times and encapsulation with CGC’s yellow Signature Series label and CCS pressing (for an additional $20 fee).

All of the submission details for signings with Besch and Sears are available on CGC’s website.
