CGC Signings with Adam Kubert, Ben Percy, and Joshua Cassara
CGC is hosting an exclusive in-house private signing event with comic creators Adam Kubert, Ben Percy, and Joshua Cassara. The creative team is known for their work on X-Men and X-Force at Marvel, as well as in DC and Titan titles. Kubert’s art credits also include Wolverine, Weapon X, The Incredible Hulk, and Action Comics. As a comic writer, Percy is known for Wolverine: The Long Night, Batman, Green Arrow, and Teen Titans. Cassara’s art is seen in The Avengers, Black Panther, Captain Marvel, and Fantastic Four.
Along with the signings, Kubert will offer remarques and Cassara will do remarques and head sketches.
In conjunction with Kubert, CGC will give away three pieces of art drawn by Kubert. The third place prize is Wolverine #2 page 19 (2020), second place prize is Wolverine Vol. 2 #87 page 14 (1994), and first place prize is Wolverine Weapon X Vol. 1 #9 original cover art (2010). All books submitted for his signature or remarques count as entries for the giveaway.
“We are so excited to bring fans this in-house private signing with this amazing group of comic creators,” CGC Signature Series Director Brittany McManus said. “We cannot wait to see all of the amazing submissions that we will be receiving for this event!”
For this exclusive signing, both free and paid CGC members can submit books directly to the CGC headquarters in Sarasota, Florida. CGC must receive all submissions by Friday, May 20, 2022.
If the private signing needs to be rescheduled, CGC will securely store submissions until they can be rescheduled.
After the books are signed, CGC will grade and encapsulate them with expedited turnaround of six weeks for grading or eight weeks for grading and pressing. Then collectibles will be shipped back to the owners.
The fee for Kubert’s signature is $85, Percy is $75, and Cassara is $70. Kubert’s signature and remarque is $410, Kubert and Percy signatures on the same book is $105, Cassara’s signature and remarque is $160, Cassara’s signature and head sketch is $575, and a book signed by Kubert, Percy, and Cassara is $125. These fees include the expedited turnaround times and encapsulation with CGC’s yellow Signature Series label and CCS pressing (for an additional $20 fee).
