CGC Offers On-Site at the Big Apple Comic Con

CGC will be offering On-Site Grading at the Big Apple Comic Con from October 16-18, 2009. Fans can come to the show’s location at Pier 94 (55th Street at 12th Avenue) to take advantage of CGC’s On-Site Grading.

Submissions will be accepted in multiple on-site tiers including Modern, Economy, Standard, Express and WalkThru services.

Those wish to take advantage of the service may prepare their On-Site grading submissions in advance by filling out the form which can be found on their events page and bringing it to the convention with any submissions.

On-Site Tier Pricing for the Big Apple Comic Con 2009:
Modern (Comics 1980-present valued $200 or less) – $24
Economy (Comics valued $300 or less) – $45
Standard (Comics valued $1000 or less) – $75
Express (Comics valued $3000 or less) – $125
Walk-Thru (Comics any value) – Min $175 Max $1500 2.5% FMV

“CGC will also be accepting submissions for all tiers of service to be shipped back to our facility in Sarasota for grading. These submissions should not be listed on the On-Site submission form. Stop by the CGC booth to drop off your books or for details about Signature Series opportunities with the guests attending this show,” the company said.

Featured comic guests include Jim Lee (All Star Batman & Robin, the Boy Wonder), Joe Quesada (Marvel Editor-in-Chief), Joe Kubert (Sgt. Rock), and Neal Adams (Batman, Green Lantern/Green Arrow), among many others.

CGC will have numerous witnesses available for this event, so go by the booth to make arrangements, or visit the Signature Room located on CGC’s Chat Boards.
