Convention attendees filled the Sheraton Parsippany in Parsippany, NJ to the brim during Chiller Theatre’s semiannual toy, model, and film expo last weekend on October 24-26, 2014. The show has later hours Friday evening than most conventions, staying open until 11 PM. Saturday the show was held from 10 AM to 7 PM and Sunday from 11 AM to 4 PM. The Cowsills, Ian Lloyd, The Smithereens, Dead Elvi, The Test, and Pat Horgan & Thunder Road performed Saturday night after the show wrapped for the day.

Chiller hosted a giant guest list that included wrestling superstar Hulk Hogan, Tatum O’Neal (The Bad News Bears, Rescue Me), Teri Garr (Young Frankenstein, Star Trek), Happy Days stars Henry Winkler, Marion Ross, and Cindy Williams, James Remar (The Warriors, Dexter), Joyce Randolph (The Honeymooners), Godzilla actors Kitagawa, Nakajima, and Satsuma and artist Nishikawa, Kiss guitarist Ace Frehley, Marky Ramone of The Ramones, Terminator stars Linda Hamilton and Michael Biehn, Good Times actors John Amos, Ja’net DuBois, Jimmie J.J. Walker, BernNadette Stanis, and Ralph Carter, and Sons of Anarchy stars Ryan Hurst and Mark Boone Junior.

Dealers filled two large rooms and lined hallways selling tons of DVDs, t-shirts, jewelry, posters, toys, and collectibles. Artists filled the Mezzanine level with original paintings, sketches, and models ranging from celebrity likenesses to sci-fi, fantasy, and horror interpretations. The show held a Halloween costume contest, model and art contest, a tribute to Johnny Ramone, a Q&A with May Pang about The Beatles and her photography, a tribute to Vincent Price with his daughter Victoria, a Godzilla summit, and an auction.
