Just in time for Captain Action’s new comic book team-up with The Phantom, a rare Italian version of the 1966 original Phantom outfit for Captain Action, approximately near mint-in-box,  sold for $1,009 on eBay.

The virtually unknown variation, licensed by Ideal Toys, was produced in Italy by Baravelli. The seller said he had purchased it 25 years ago from another collector and displayed it in a glass cabinet since then.
