Captain Action will be saving the day at the New Jersey Comic Expo this weekend. The con will be held at the New Jersey Convention and Exposition Center on November 21-22, 2015.

Those who attend the Boys and Toys: 50 Years of Captain Action panel will get to see a sneak peek at the Captain Action card game, which comes out in 2016. They will distribute a limited amount of Captain Action and Dr. Evil wild cards to the crowd, along with a promotional card that shows off Murphy Anderson’s package art. Fans will also get to see new art for the upcoming game from Jerry Ordway, Steve Lightle, and Kerry Callen.

“I am really looking forward to seeing the reaction to these prototype cards and seeing the game begin to take shape,” Game Producer Harold Sipe said. “I think fans of Captain Action and of great comic art will be excited to see new works from Ordway, Lightle, and Callen.”

The release of the new Captain Action 3-in-1 party card game will coincide with Captain Action’s 50th anniversary. It is based on the original Kool Pop deck game from 1967, with updated gameplay and art by Lightle, Anderson, Ordway, Carmine Infantino, and Kerry Callen.

Details on the New Jersey Comic Expo can be found in our Catch the Wave section.
