Bulletproof Monk: Tales of the BPM #1
Share:
The upcoming movie has lots of people
wondering where the Bulletproof Monk came from, and this comic has at least part
of the answer. The original Flypaper Press mini-series (originally released as
single issues by Image and now collected in a trade paperback) ties in nicely to
this new multi-story, one-shot issue with work by original BPM artist
Michael Avon Oeming, Tim Sale (Batman: Dark Victory) and 100
Bullets cover artist Dave Johnson.

Dark Horse Comics; $12.95

Former X-Men scribes Scott
Lobdell and Fabian Nicieza turn their attentions to the town of Sunnydale, which
is unfortunately suddenly missing. What’s a poor slayer to do? Well, in Buffy’s
case, the usual answer is to rough up a bunch of bad guys - of course, it’s not
the what but the how that usually makes her interesting. See for
yourself.
