
Buckingham, Sayger, Others Join Baltimore Comic-Con
The Baltimore Comic-Con has announced a new round of guests including Mark Buckingham, Letizia Cadonici, Todd Dezago, John J. Pearson, Stuart Sayger, and Kelly Yates. The show will return to the Baltimore Convention Center on October 17-19, 2025.
Best known for his art on Vertigo’s Fables, Buckingham started his career in 1990 with Neil Gaiman on Miracleman at Eclipse. He became a regular at DC for his work on titles like 2000 AD, Hellblazer, and Shade, the Changing Man. After he took over art duties on Fables, he earned four Eisner Awards for his work.
Cadonici is an Italian comic artist who has worked with several publishers in horror and gothic comics. Her art is seen in House of Slaughter, Neighbors, Children of the Black Sun, and more.
Dezago has written for DC, Marvel, Dark Horse, Image, and Scout Comics. He has written for Spider-Man, X-Factor, X-Men, Avengers, Marvel Super Hero Squad, Justice League, Flash, Batman, and Young Justice. He co-created the fantasy title Tellos with Mike Wieringo.
Pearson is an illustrator who has worked with DC, Image, Vault Comics, Z2, Heavy Metal magazine, Netflix, WWE, Rue Morgue magazine, and the Ray Harryhausen Foundation. He won an Eisner for his work in Blue in Green and is currently working on In Bloom at BOOM! Studios.
Sayger broke into comics by creating and producing Shiver in the Dark. His art has appeared on the covers of G.I. Joe, Dejah Thoris, Jeepers Creepers, Vampirella, KISS, and Bloodshot. He has also provided art for The Walking Dead, X-Files, 30 Days of Night, Xena Warrior Princess, Micronauts, and Rom.
Yates is an illustrator who has provided art in Doctor Who comics at Titan and IDW, and inspired Titan’s toy lines. He also writes and illustrates his creator owned books Amber Atoms and MonstHer.
