released in theaters back in 1984. While it never did blockbuster box office
business, it has continued to build on its cult following since
then.
Moonstone Books is bringing the character back in comic book form.
Kicking off the new adventures is Buckaroo Banzai: The Preview, a new
16-page look at the upcoming three-part mini-series. With a story by Mac Rauch
and W.D. Richter, art by Stephen Thompson and Keith Williams, and a cover by
Dennis Calero, the preview will retail for only 50¢.

Diamond Comic Distributors as is scheduled to go on sale in
December.
