In case you haven’t had your fill of film remakes, Warner Bros. will be
producing the third remake of 1956’s Invasion of the Body Snatchers. WB
also produced a 1993 version of the sci-fi thriller.

This time around, Nicole Kidman has reported signed on to lead the cast,
while German director Oliver Hirschbiegel will take the film’s helm and Dave
Kajganich will write the script.

The film begins shooting in October 2005.
