Star Wars fan favorite Lando Calrissian will be making an appearance on Disney XD’s animated show Star Wars Rebels on January 19, 2015. Not only is Lando back, the original old smoothie Billy Dee Williams will be voicing him.

Since the show launched Lando’s return to the series had been rumored. Star Wars Rebels is a prequel, therefore we’ll get to see a younger version of the smuggler and space pirate. The show’s supervising director Dave Filoni said that, “He’s still working on all of his moves, all of his strategies.”

In the story Lando wins the droid Chopper during a game of cards with Zeb. This leads Zeb and the Ghost crew to hatch a plan to get their astromech back, but they end up in a more difficult predicament when Lando plans to trade Hera for secret cargo.

Judging by the level of enthusiasm shown by the show’s crew in the clip on Star Wars’ YouTube channel, it’ll be a blast to watch.
