Big, Big Grading Guide Funded in 24 Hours
For the first time ever, The Overstreet Guide to Grading Comics is getting the Big, Big treatment. The limited version of the Grading Guide’s seventh edition is being sold exclusively on Zoop, and Overstreet supporters showed up early to order their copies. In fact, The Big, Big Overstreet Guide to Grading Comics reached its funding goal in the first 24 hours of the campaign.
The Big, Big Overstreet Guide to Grading Comics is the same 9” x 10-3/4” size as the popular Big, Big Overstreet Comic Book Price Guide – except this exclusive version will be in full color format.
The book starts with lively, comic-style introductory material, before providing the content that fans, collectors, dealers, and comics historians have come to trust over decades. The 10-point grading system is defined with meticulous descriptions of primary and split grades. Profiles on third party grading companies, detailed information on storage, preservation, restoration, the evolution of grading, and more are also presented in the book. Collectively, the book features over 200 full-color image examples.

Accurate comic book grading is a crucial aspect of the hobby. Major keys continue to see significant growth in prices on the secondary market, and the same issue can sell for dramatically different prices depending on the grade. Third party grading plays a major role in the value of books in the secondary market, so collectors need to have a clear understanding of grading when submitting to third party graders. This helps people have realistic expectations about the grades that their books receive.
The Grading Guide provides meticulous descriptions and illustrations of the grades, including the small details that can reflect a point or half-point difference. When collectors and dealers familiarize themselves with the differences in grades, it helps make the transactions of raw, unslabbed books as accurate and realistic as possible. Knowing more about third party graders, learning tips for storage and preservation, as well as restoration, and understanding the history of comic grading provides a strong knowledge base for all members of the comic collecting hobby.
The Big, Big Overstreet Guide to Grading Comics is priced at $75 and will be limited to orders placed on Zoop by July 17, 2026. Overstreet fans can also order the regular Overstreet Guide to Grading Comics – Seventh Edition in softcover or hardcover on Zoop. Additional items include The Overstreet Comic Book Price Guide #55, The Big, Big Overstreet Comic Book Price Guide #55, an Overstreet Access gold level one year membership, and a retailer pack is also available.
