In our holiday hustle and bustle, we overlooked this gem and we would be remiss if we didn’t make sure you longtime Legion of Super-Heroes fans knew about it. Legion of Super-Heroes: Enemy Rising collects legendary Legion writer Jim Shooter’s first two story arcs on the series, “Evil Adventus” (from issues 37-39) and “Enemy Rising” (from issues #40-44). It’s fun to see that despite years away from the characters that Shooter hasn’t lost a beat, and equally fun to see artist Francis Manapul growing in his storytelling as the tale progresses.
