Writer Brian Michael Bendis (Ultimate Spider-Man, New
Avengers) has renewed his exclusive deal with Marvel Comics.

After
spending the early portion of his career on creator-owned crime titles like
Goldfish, Jinx, and Torso, Bendis wrote a successful run on
Sam & Twitch for Todd McFarlane and co-created Powers with
Mike Oeming Image Comics.

Bendis moved to Marvel with Ultimate
Spider-Man, but has since gone on to write a long run on Daredevil, short
stints on Ultimate X-Men and Ultimate Fantastic Four,
Alias, and The Pulse. He’s also the driving force behind this
summer’s House of M event series.

The terms of the extension were
not revealed.
