Writer J. Michael Straczynski and artist Eduardo Risso have delivered what might be the most surprising of all the Before Watchmen efforts. They’ve taken Moloch, a minor character and former arch villain, and made him not only a much more pivotal character in the Watchmen tapestry, they’ve made him a sympathetic figure on a par with Rorschach. Pretty impressive.
