Baltimore Comic-Con Expands to 3 Days in 2014
With their September 7-8, 2013 show at the Baltimore Convention Center fast approaching, the Baltimore Comic-Con has confirmed that next year the long-running convention will expand to three days.
In 2014, the Baltimore Comic-Con will celebrate its 15th year as it grows from two days to three and simultaneously takes over more of the convention center, show promoter Marc Nathan told Scoop. He said the move to becoming a three-day show has been in the works.
“It’s actually been planned for next year for a while,” Nathan said.
The Baltimore show has gained a reputation for being one of the most comic book focused conventions on the circuit, something he said will continue.
“We are staying comic-centric, however we do intend to add media guests with strong comic book ties,” he said.
