Baltimore Comic-Con Adds Media Guests: Wright & Esposito
The Baltimore Comic-Con has been adding countless creator guests to their lineup, and now they are starting to announce the media guest. Harry Potter star Bonnie Wright and Breaking Bad star Giancarlo Esposito will be appearing at the next show on October 17-19, 2025.
Wright portrayed Ginny Weasley in all eight films in the Harry Potter franchise. She has since stepped behind the camera to direct short films, commercials, and music videos. Some of her projects have been showcased at Cannes and Tribeca Film Festival. She wrote the book Go Gently: Actionable Steps to Nurture Yourself and the Planet which explores ways to help the environment and one’s community. Wright and co-host Pattie Gonia will appear in the Go Gently TV show, which will tackle the same topics as the pair go on a road trip.
“We are thrilled to have Bonnie joining us this year,” Baltimore Comic-Con show promoter Marc Nathan said. “I feel like I see her face every time I’m flipping through the TV, because one Harry Potter movie or another is on some channel! Potterheads are going to have an amazing opportunity to meet her this year at the Baltimore Comic-Con.”
Esposito is an actor-director-producer well known for playing drug kingpin Gus Fring in Breaking Bad, for which he earned an Emmy nomination. He reprised the role for the spinoff series, Better Call Saul, earning two more Emmy nominations. He was also nominated for an Emmy for his role of Moff Gideon in the Star Wars series The Mandalorian. Esposito’s recent credits also include Captain America: Brave New World, Megalopolis, Parish, Abigail, The Boys, Westworld, and Dear White People, among many others. Some of his earliest work included starring in Do the Right Thing and The Usual Suspects.
“Giancarlo Esposito is arguably one of the most recognizable actors working on screen today, both visually and audibly,” Nathan said. “He has been a part of so many major properties, from the Marvel Cinematic Universe to the Star Wars Universe, from Breaking Bad to The Boys, and so much more. We are ecstatic to be adding him as a 2025 guest, and his fans won’t want to miss this amazing opportunity!”
