For the past 13 years, the Baltimore Comic-Con has offered a special yearbook to attendees that showcases the work of multiple artists on a specific character. For the show on October 17-19, 2025, the Baltimore Comic-Con Yearbook will feature interpretations of Jeff Smith’s Bone.

Bone is a tale about brothers Fone, Phoney, and Smiley Bone as they embark on adventures in the Valley. They are joined by Fone’s love interest, Thorn, her grandmother, the Rat Creatures, Miss Possum and the Possum Kids, and others. The book has been printed in Smith’s Cartoon Books, Image Comics, and Scholastic/Graphix.

“I’m excited to return to the Baltimore Comic-Con during their 26th anniversary and honored to have Bone be this year’s theme for the Souvenir Yearbook!” Smith said. “I’ve seen a few of the previous editions – which were fantastic – and am anxious to see what everyone comes up with! What a thrill!”

The yearbook is part of Baltimore Comic-Con’s scavenger hunter. Attendees who buy the yearbook will get a list of its contributors and their table numbers. Attendees who collect the required number of signatures can get bonus prints.

Bone is one of the seminal properties for comics readers,” Baltimore Comic-Con show promoter Marc Nathan said. “So many kids get their start reading comics and graphic novels through Bone, either from Scholastic Book Fairs or kids sections in book stores or even from their comics-reading parents putting them on the path. Bone is such a unique and beloved world of characters and Jeff Smith has done an amazing job of expanding the storyline and lore to keep readers coming back. Our artist guests were delighted to hear they would get a chance to dip their toe into Jeff’s universe and you’re definitely going to want to grab your copy this year!”

Art that is created for the yearbook will be sold at the Baltimore Comic-Con Art Auction on October 18. The book will be sold at the show’s exclusives booth in the lobby, selling for $29.99.
