Oni & Archie; $4.99

Archie, Betty, and Jughead picked up a little extra cash by working as servers at a Riverdale High alumni reunion. It seemed like an easy gig – walking around with trays of canapés and cocktails. Then Archie is strongarmed into hearing life lessons from two alums that have opposing opinions about life lessons. The next day, Archie takes the confusing advice to heart on a date with Betty, with comical and predicably disastrous results.

In the backup story, Jughead is sitting in Pop's Chock'Lit Shoppe thinking about life. He's thinking about the people he met at the reunion, growing up, and this weird sense that something is off around him. But what could it be?

The issue ends with cute back material about Riverdale, a quick game for readers, and a pinup.

This issue of Archie by Ben H. Winters and artist Fábio Moon is about finding balance, and how small decisions can shape our lives. The subject matter might seem serious, but it's presented in Archie style. So, when Archie tries to have fun and be responsible, it happens in a comical way. The kid good intentions but his split focus gets him in trouble in more ways than one.
