American Numismatic Rarities Offers The Louis E. Eliasberg Collection of World Coins and Medals

was featured in the April 27 issue of Life magazine. Called “the king of
coins,” Louis E. Eliasberg Sr.’s collection was offered in several auctions in
the early 1980s through late 1990s by Q. David Bowers.
On April 18-19
2005, American Numismatic Rarities will be offering the world coins and medal
from the Eliasberg collection in New York City. The vast array of items in the
collection is truly a wonder to view. Coins from Afghanistan, China, Israel,
Greece, and Italy among just a few of the many fine examples found in the 2,500+
offering. This will be an event that any collector will not want to miss. Each
world coin sold will be accompanied by the Eliasberg pedigree.
