offering historic and key items on behalf of their clients. All items will be
available at our booths on a first come first serve basis, visit their home page
for images of these items in the coming days. Prices will not be posted until
the first day of the convention, Thursday, July 20, in order to give everyone an
opportunity.
Highlights include: Kirby/Sinnott cover art Fantastic
Four #100, Steranko cover art Captain America #113, the best
selection of DC splashes to come to market including splashes of Showcase
#35 and Showcase # 36, cover art to Strange Adventures #157, Kirby
splash page Strange Tales #102, Winsor McCay Sammy Sneeze,
Rarebit Fiend and two great political cartoons, Frazetta paintings, pen
and ink drawings; Ace McCoy Sunday, Historic Hal Foster Sunday,
Infantino, Drucker, Giella, Caniff, Kurtzman, Wood, Williamson, Sickles and many
more.
Carmine Infantino, Joe Giella and Jerry Robinson are guests at the
show and will also be joining All Star Auctions at their booths at various
points. A limited quantity of Carmine’s book The Amazing World of Carmine
Infantino will be available with an illuminated drawing on the flyleaf
inscription. These giants of our field will be available to sign and speak with
convention attendees.
Whether or not you are able to attend the show
you can still participate. If you have key items All Star Auctions can showcase
on their web site and sell on your behalf with nearly 100,000 attendees as well
as their extensive client base. All Star Auctions offers seller’s commission
rate for items that realize over $999 is the lowest in the industry, at 10%. All
Star Auctions will be located at booth numbers are 706 and 708.
