Ahead of the season five debut on Friday, December 1, 2017, Agents of SHIELD is giving fans a chance to watch the first 17 minutes of the episode. The special preview reveals the identity of the aliens that were first seen in the trailer, shows our heroes in a precarious situation, some frozen in time action, the introduction of “True Believers,” and a very disoriented group of people.

Season four ended with the close of the LMD chapter and the Agents of SHIELD sent into space. Talbot was shot, Yo-Yo was barely able to get Mack out of the Framework, Radcliffe was deleted, Coulson stopped Ophelia by temporarily becoming Ghost Rider, Robbie Reyes reclaimed control of Ghost Rider and disappeared through a portal with the Darkhold, the SHIELD agents were arrested, but ended up on a space station.

Based on this special preview, it looks like season five of Agents of SHIELD will start things off with some bigtime action.
