Adrianne Palicki has been cast at Bobbi Morse, also known as Mockingbird, for Season Two of Marvel’s Agents of S.H.I.E.L.D.

The Friday Night Lights veteran joins the show’s other announced additions including Lucy Lawless (Agent Isabelle Hartley), Reed Diamond (Daniel Whitehall), Nick Blood (Lance Hunter), Henry Simmons (Alphonso “Mack” Mackenzie), and Kyle MacLachlan (Skye’s father).

Clark Gregg (Coulson), Ming-Na Wen (May), Brett Dalton (Ward), Elizabeth Henstridge (Simmons), Iain De Caestecker (Fitz), and Chloe Bennet (Skye) return for the new season, which is scheduled to debut Tuesday, September 23, 2014 at 9:00 PM EDT on ABC.

This is Palicki’s second shot at a comic book character. She was previously cast as Wonder Woman in a pilot that did not get picked up.
