You never know where a promotional advertisement for a premium will turn
up. Recently, while looking at vintage gum cards and wrappers, we came across an
interesting find. This late 1930s waxed paper wrapper from the Goudey Gum
Company offered a choice of three military premium rings. The rings offered were
for the Army, Navy, and Air Service and could be obtained by sending in 10
wrappers and 10 cents.
