A Dynamite Debut in TV Guide
titles will be previewed nationwide in July 10, 2006 edition of TV Guide,
which hit stores on Thursday, July 06. Featured in this edition will be pages
from Highlander #0 and Xena #1.
Highlander #0 is
written by Brandon Jerwa and Michael Avon Oeming with interior art by Lee Moder,
a cover by Gabrielle Dell’Otto (Secret War) and carries an introduction
price of only ¢25. Xena #1 is written by John Layman with art by Fabian
Neves and features a variant cover by Billy Tan (X-23). Both titles are
set to hit store shelves this month.
In addition to the TV Guide
previews, Dynamite also announced this week the release of two new trades that
will be released later this summer. The Army of Darkness Collected
Edition and Red Sonja vs. Thulsa Doom Trade Paperbacks were featured
in the June edition of Diamond Comic Distributors’
Previews.
Army of Darkness Collected Edition is written by
Sam and Ivan Raimi, and painted by John Bolton and features two different covers
for the movie adaptation. Red Sonja vs. Thulsa Doom collects the
mini-series from Dynamite into a trade and features a story by Luke Leiberman
and Peter David with art by Will Conrad.
