Hake’s Previews Jeff Jacob Collection Part 4 Auction

In January 2025, Hake’s Auctions began selling the multi-million dollar Jeff Jacob Collection, bringing many extremely rare and high grade pieces to the market. The meticulously cultivated collection is filled with action figures, vehicles, playsets, and more from popular 1970s and 1980s toy lines. Anchored by highly coveted Star Wars material, Jacob’s collection is also filled with toys from G.I. Joe, Transformers, and other lines.

The next round of the massive collection will soon be offered by Hake’s. The Jeff Jacob Collection Part 4 Auction begins on January 16, 2026, and collectors can now preview the over 450 lots that will be open for bids. The auction will close on February 4.

An uncirculated, AFA high grade complete set of all 92 Star Wars action figures plus varieties for a total of 114 figures are offered in one lot. The Luke Skywalker 12-back-C AFA 85 rare double-telescoping variety is the photo example seen in Star Wars Vintage Action Figures: A Guide for Collectors.

The Radio Controlled Jawa Sandcrawler AFA 85 vehicle with an elevator and opening side panel is one of the highest graded examples. The Death Star Space Station playset AFA 85 has three levels of activity space and comes with a working elevator, exploding laser cannon, trash compactor with moving wall, and other features.

The Star Wars highlights continue with The Empire Strikes Back Millennium Falcon AFA 85, Revenge of the Jedi proof cards, and Power of the Force AT-AT Driver 92-back AFA 85 (Australian exclusive with Warok coin).

Several popular toy lines from the 1980s are represented in the auction, including Transformers and G.I. Joe. There’s a Transformers Series 2 Jetfire AFA 80 (registered logo) that uses the Super Valkyrie mecha design from the anime series, Super Dimensional Fortress Macross. The Series 2 Car – Red Alert AFA 85 (Autobot Security Director) is a high grade copy, with only six graded higher. G.I. Joe Snake Eyes Series 2 32-back AFA 75 and Firefly Series 3 34-back AFA 75 (Cobra Saboteur) are both peach file cards.
