Hake’s Auctions’ President Alex Winter and Director of Administration Heather Winter are retiring from the auction house after many years with the company. All of us at Overstreet Access and Gemstone Publishing would like to wish them congratulations on their retirement from Hake’s Auctions. We wish them good luck on the next chapter of their lives.

“No, there isn’t any elevator to success. But on the stepladder to success is commitment, dedication, and determination. We hope your great success in growing Hake’s Auctions follows you both in all you do for many years into the future. With love, Ted and Jonell,” Hake’s Auctions founder Ted Hake said.

“Hake’s wouldn’t be what it is today without Alex and Heather. Both have been integral in our growth over the years, overseeing auction after auction and making it a smooth process along the way for consignors and bidders alike. As 2025 draws to a close, they’re leaving on a high note, capping their careers with our best year to date,” Hake’s Consignment Director Alex McClain said. “We can never thank them enough for all their sacrifices and contributions in making Hake’s the respected company it is today and we wish them both success and enjoyment in their retirement.”

Congratulations to Alex and Heather Winter
