The Quintesson War is unfolding in Void Rivals, written by Robert Kirkman (Invincible) with art by Andrei Bressan (Birthright) and colors by Patricio Delpeche (The Sandman Universe: Nightmare Country). Skybound and Image, in collaboration with Hasbro, are providing a first look at the variant covers and interior pages for Void Rivals #26.

Void Rivals is the main title in the Energon Universe, bringing together the Transformers and G.I. Joe franchises into a shared universe where they are joined by original comic characters.

“The Quintesson war rages on! Sharkticon hordes sweep the Sacred Ring as the Zertonians and Agorrian’s finally reach unity – in fighting a common enemy!” per the description. “Each issue of Void Rivals promises to take readers further into the Energon Universe, with more familiar faces to appear, including character debuts and shocking reveals!”

Void Rivals #26 has a main cover by Lorenzo De Felici, a variant by Andrei Bressan and Adriano Lucas, a variant by Ben Oliver, a 1:25 incentive variant by Leirix Li, and a 1:50 incentive variant by Chuma Hill.

The Energon Universe titles also include Transformers by Kirkman, artist Dan Mora (Justice League Unlimited), and colorist Mike Spicer (Stillwater); and G.I. Joe by Joshua Williamson (Superman), artist Tom Reilly (Duke), and colorist Jordie Bellaire (Absolute Wonder Woman).
