Julien’s Auctions and Turner Classic Movies are presenting a Hollywood Legends Auction in Los Angeles on December 9-12, 2025. The four-day event features nearly 1,500 items from the history of cinema with props from classic movies, material from modern films, and jewelry from Joseff of Hollywood.

The Joseff of Hollywood Collection showcases the costume jewelry that was created for the golden age of film. There are over 400 pieces of jewelry that was worn by Vivien Leigh in Gone with the Wind, Audrey Hepburn in Sabrina, Marilyn Monroe in Gentlemen Prefer Blondes and How to Marry a Millionaire, as well as jewelry worn by Lauren Bacall, Natalie Wood, and Lucille Ball. This session of the auction is on December 9.

The classic Hollywood session is filled with props, scripts, costumes, and personal effects from early film. Highlights are the Wicked Witch of the West’s castle wall torch prop from The Wizard of Oz, David O. Selznick’s on-set production diary and shooting script from Gone with the Wind, Charlton Heston’s slave tunic from Ben-Hur, and the Great Hall of Xanadu set dressing from Citizen Kane. There are also items from stars like Elizabeth Taylor, Ann-Margaret, Lee Marvin, and designs by Bob Mackie. The session is set to close on December 10.

The modern group of contemporary classics features props, memorabilia, and costumes from films and TV shows of the 20th and 21st centuries. This includes the David Lynch collection with production scripts from Lost Highway and Wild at Heart and the Twin Peaks original Black Lodge floor panel; the Terry Zwigoff Collection featuring items related to Robert Crum and Ghost World; and the Estate of Harry Dean Stanton with a portrait painting and his contract for Apocalypse Now. This session contains the Dean Cundey Collection with items from the cinematographer’s career in films like Jurassic Park, The Fog, and Halloween, and shirts worn by Heath Ledger and Jake Gyllenhaal in Brokeback Mountain. This session ends on December 11-12.
