The Event Horizon has used the Gravity Drive – but it did not take them to their destination. It took them somewhere far, far worse. The chief engineer is dead, others are missing, and several crew members have witnessed horrible, strange things. In Event Horizon Dark Descent, writer Christian Ward, artist Tristan Jones, and colorist Pip Martin have taken the premise of the movie one step farther. Instead of violent chaos, there’s a malevolent entity roaming the ship that has an agenda and a plan. Characters are hallucinating unpleasant moments from their past while facing a terrifying situation in the present. It’s a freaky book that captures the frights of the sci-fi/horror movie that it’s based on.
